I'm wondering if other people would fold in this spot. Yucky, yucky board. I don't think I've ever folded a set before.

although this hand makes me sick...i don't think i would fold. i have this nagging thought sometimes that they just caught two pair and put me on high card hands that missed the flop so they come firing out. i would call down and hope that i dont see two clubs or someone holding a 10 to make a runner runner straight.

i'd be interested in what other people think of this situation

im not a limit player, but im i reading this correctly that it was only 10 cents to see the showdown? If that is the case, i definitly make the call. and like gutshot said, there is still a decent chance that you have the best hand to 2 pair

You have to call this because of the pot odds offered. In the long run, your hand will be best enough to show a profit here.

Edit: Yeah I might as well show you the numbers so you understand.

You were getting 1 to 12.2 to call.

You only have to be right 7.58% of the time to be breaking even here (although you're going to be right more often than this if you call, and will show a profit). Even if you had some sort of weird read on the guy, you still have to call this, period.

Bet da riva. Cry-call a raise. This is as bad as my JJ hand in the "worst played hand of the day" over at the FR board.
<Staxalax> Honestly, #flopturnriver is the one thing that has improved my game the most.
