Just moving up to 1/2....came across this crazy hand. I fold preflop..

UTG +1 has 60 cents left at the table and decides to fold.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: lhoney2 is MP1 with Q, 4.
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, UTG+2 folds, lhoney2 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB 3-bets, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 2, 9, 8 (2 players)
SB bets, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) T (2 players)
SB bets, UTG+1 raises, SB 3-bets, UTG+1 folds.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

Results in white below:
No showdown. SB wins 9.50 BB.

Being a bad player got him into an all-in spot to begin with. After that, nothing should surprise you...

The bad part was, just a few hands before this one, I mucked AQo to their PFR. I looked at the hand history, and a 3-bet would have taken down the pot.

Mike was telling me I should have 3 bet in IRC...

lesson learned.

Very opponent/position specific play, more-so than you would think. AQ does very poorly against a tight range of raising hands.

I screwed this up durring my morning session. I 3-bet a KK raise and got away with one on an Axx flop. Then I got gunshy folded to a LP raise on the button and watched that player then raise from UTG, UTG+1, UTG+2 the next orbit...

is that a typo? my math says 30-1 not 300-1.

but your point is still valid.

Sorry, just getting a handle on this math stuff.

Yeh, at 30-1, it might as well be 3,000,000 - 1.
