picking on bisonbison - not nice!
hand 1
perfect. what was your intent in raising from the SB?
hand 2
perfect.
hand 3
A5 off from the small blind - a little loosy-goosy? although, if you're going to play it, i like the raise - pressure the BB!
nicely played.
hand 4
i'm torn on betting the flop or checking as you did - either way, OUCH!
hand 5
fnord only calls preflop?!?!? stop the presses! the 3-bet was a nice touch - it set up taking it down on the flop perfectly.
hand 6
raising Q7 suited preflop? cough LAg master cough . but once again, you're first in and if you're going to play it, i like the raise.
flop - not thrilled with the raise
turn - fold to the bet
hand 7
tough hand - i would have just called the turn. hard to know what he has by his betting

It's funny playing at a table where you are the fish...

To show I wouldn't be pushed around. Probably a maginal hand to do this with given their range comming in from MP. I probably could have just called pre-flop. Mixed feelings all around on this one. BTW, Bison said he had AK.

I have equity against a random hand, but knew I was in trouble when he 3-bet. Bison said he had a med pocket pair.

I knew he had me on the flop. Plan was to peel one, fold the turn unimproved.

This was the ONLY pre-flop call I saw for the couple hours I was there. Hence, I thought it was the perfect set-up for this play.

Blind steal gone wrong. I over-played the hand, but keep in perspective just how aggressive a table full of TAggs playing for small stakes (at least a couple online 15/30 players in there) would get.

I see this a lot sometimes and I'm confused with it. First I see it when people hold junk hands like K-5o or an A-8s, which I interpret it as a gross overstatement of their hand, especially when i'm holding AK or AQ.
Then I see it when someone cold calls preflop in middle position with AK and then reraises. I've never seen this work too well could you explain this to me a little more on how this is supposed to be effective?

It's not a routine part of my playbook.
Everyone at the table was open-raising pre-flop
Everyone at the table was a thinking player
Everyone at the table knew what a limp/re-raise represented
This is almost never true at any other table I would play at. I also thought it'd be neat to showboat a little...
