I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

yes, this is a must bet on the flop. You have the flush draw and an overcard which gives you about 11 outs(we'll assume the ace isn't always good) and huge value if two or three of them call. If only one of them calls, you will probably have it checked to you on the turn for a free river card if you need it again giving you good value on the flop bet. If they all fold, then the bet was obviously worth it. It's a win-win-win situation

If yo uthink the player to your left will lead out, by all means check. but you need to be 90% certain he'll lead out or you should be betting, and praing the player on your right will raise so you can either overcall, or raise.
In this case, I'd rather overcall, because you could force out your equity. But if there were even 1 more player to the flop I'd re-raise, hoping at least one more player was a donk and figgured he was stuck in.
Remember, you're 38% to complete by the river, which means with 2 other players 5% of every dollar that goes into the pot is +ev for you. that's huge.

The OP is on the button--there is no player to his left. But for the sake of argument, if you pretended there was a player to his left, this advice is still good advice.

I think you can safely 3-bet this with 4 players in the pot. I don't think you push out the other players often enough to overcome the positive effect of extra value when they don't fold and a possible free card on the turn either way.
Also by 3-betting, people are less likely to put you on a draw.
