After the flop betting, I was pretty sure I was up against QJ and maybe a flush draw...I couldn't convince myself that anyone had the bottom end.

The only reason I stayed in this pot so long was because it was already so big-and if I did catch, or happened to have the best hand, I was getting paid big.

Would you have taken this all the way? or could you have convinced yourself to let it go?

LOL. Love the pre action!

I think w/ that many players still hangin to see the turn, I check/call... re-evaluate on river action.

It's almost impossible to put these types on hands, because they always peel soo light, but w/ 4 plrs. on turn, and so coordinated... slam on breaks!

{Nice River}

Yeah-after the turn got 3-bet, I was hovering my pointer over fold-the size of the pot convinced me to see one more card-at that point I was 99% sure I was behind. Had the river whiffed, I was folding to any raise.

Even if you were 100% sure you were behind, you can never fold this turn. NOT EVER. When it is 3 bet you are getting 13-1 odds to call. You have ten outs for quads/full house which is 3.6 - 1.

i think you still made one mistake that cost you a little. overall, its very well played, imo.

can you find the mistake? its one i agonize over all the time, but HAS to be corrected...by both of us.

ps...i dont like the turn lead into a 4-str8 board at this level, but that isnt the mistake i see.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

I'll have to think about this one.

As far as the 4-str8 on the turn-should I really be worried about someone having x7? After a preflop cap, the only potential hand that may cause a problem is A7c, but even then, I've got a few of his outs covered.

I wasn't advocating folding turn... only slowing down!
