Hand 1, I don't mind a flop check. Your hand is nearly unbeatable (only runner runner for straight flush or quad Aces can beat you). It is reasonable to give everyone a free card to catch up, and someone might bet. If, however, everyone at the table loves to call flop bets on scary flops without much of a hand, you certainly should bet.

Hand 2, flop check is very bad. Many hands can hit this flop, so you want to bet. You want to make any A or T pay to draw to split with you as well.

I still still think the flop check was good on hand 1, I was thinking more of checking the turn because I felt a jack would have to bet there, or even an AQ or A10 might lead out.
On hand 2 being the first to act I thought I could check raise b/c I figured that flop should have hit someone pretty big as well, someone could have had 2 pair AK or something along that line. In the end it was a chop b/c someone had k10. When I saw them turn over K10 i couldnt believe they did not lead at the flop! A little unlucky with the river ace but very lucky to flop such a big hand. In the future I will lead at this flop though because I really need to make a 10 pay to hit against me.

Thanks

You cant expect other people to bet your hands for you, and, in some cases after a preflop raise checking the flop is seen as actually having the King.

Bet, they will call, its what they do.

Agreed, it is common for the PF raiser to bet any flop, as is the button when 2-3+ players have checked through. As always, YMMV and it depends.
