Ok i have wired 4s and limp in for set value. The flop comes 44q with 2 hearts. I bet because the pot will be laying corrent odds for someone to chase a flush. Plush the game was loose so i feel any pair or A will call but i'm realy hoping to get into a raising war with someone down the road in the hand. To my surprise all 3 players fold

In a live game, I would feel as if it was a bad beat because live games tend to be very loose and people chase any backdoors

I fold preflop.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

In the typical loose passive live limit game, folding is horrible.

Not to insult anyone but i would never fold a pair in an unraised pot when 2 or more players are constantly chasing to the river. Thats why i was shocked when they all folded. Made up for it though when i turn't a royal flush a few hands later. Caped every street Caped the flop because i had a pair of queens with a gut shot royal draw. needed a was turn as just that. Luckily the other guy had a hand. From there it was off to the races

Assuming we are in the typical live loose passive limit game, folding any pair from any position for one bet is dirty.

I rarely fold a pair from any position for 1 bet. The only time i would even think about is if there is a maniac acting after me that 2 bets every freaking hand. In that spot i would either fold or 2 bet myself and hope to get heads up with the maniac.

What's wrong with slowplay with such a monster? forgoe a few early bets, to let people catch up. You had the Stone Cold nuts right there, and if a Q came, you didn't even have to worry about that because you'd have been raised preflop.
Most loose/passive games people tend towards passivity AND tighten up on such a scary flop. Let them forget about it, and hope someone does some catching up so you can get a bet or two out of them on 4th or the River. Honestly though, I wouldn't slowplay it past the turn.
