It appears to me you are behind. Unless MP2 is a complete maniac, I think he's got JJ or better. If the other two are on draws, the flush has already hit. And if you make a set of Queens, the straight draw completes. Bottom line for me - with four players involved with all this activity, I think an overpair isn't good enough often enough to warrant a call.

I would expect MP2 to either a) cap preflop with AA/KK or b) raise MP1 right away on the flop if he had a set. His call/raise on the flop could be a badly played monster or the nut flush draw or he could just have AJ, KJ and think/hope he's good.

Point is, this is .10/.20 so whatever he's doing it's probably not optimal. I'm definitely calling the turn getting 15:1.

I pretty much always cap the flop seeing how the pots already way out of control so we might as well get as much in as we can with the nuts

Another thing I might do is raise the turn as a sort of free showdown play. It might knock out some weaker one-spade hands that still have good equity against us, and unless they're insane only the nut flush can 3bet.

A raise here would be a spew IMO. There is already a caller in between us and the bettor, so we will get called in at least 2 spots. And if we are behind we get 3-bet and then have to fold.

If we play it passive and just call now, we can see the river and then decide if we want to show it down for 1 more BB. Playing it passive also doesn't get us raised off the best hand, like if MP2 has a hand like AJ and went a little crazy.

FWIW it seems that MP2 has us beat and is playing tricky with his raise-smooth call preflop, then smooth call-3bet on the flop. Probably aces or kings. At this level I would still call to see a river and call a single bet if it bricks (no spade or jack).
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

cap flop. call down rest of way, unless facing two cold and not closing action.

but, expect to be beat. pot is just too large to fold w/o huge evidence that the flush hit or MP2 has his JJJ.
