Why 3bet?
What do you think he is raising?
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

I put him as an idiot with a jack, and the other chasing the straight. I thought he had a high kicker and was just playing the hand very wierdly.

I'd have to have put him on J6 to think I was beat, because I was sure he was just playing the jack... and I didn't.

no way I 3 bet this.
Not at .5/1, not at 5/10.
River raises are better than 1 pair far more often than you will have equity to 3 bet.
Just cuss at the screen, call, and go to the next hand.

Yeah, I should know better when the passive players raise on seemingly nothing.

80bb downswing caused by some bad beats and tilting mistakes like this... no fun.

KoRnholio will become famous soon enough
Yeah when the passive guy raises you on the river, it'll be at least 2 pair almost every time.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
