Well im doing pretty decent, im up about $125 bucks since yesterday and im feeling pretty comfortable...one thing im noticing is getting into situations of losing $30-$40 on hands commonly cause i really think ive got it with top two pair etc and getting killed by guys holding pocket pairs and hitting thier sets...

Total 5-3/4 hrs played @ 4 tables...

Stats from poker tracker all $2/$4 party

1467 hands
Vol$IP = 14.45
Won $ WSF % = 31.82
Amount Won: $121.25
BB/100 = 2.07
Went to SD% = 31.47
Won $ At SD = 60.00
PF Raise = 6.41
Aggression:
Flop = 1.71
Turn = 1.89
River = 2.90
Total = 1.97

Total Rake = $89.00

Anyone see any immediate problems?? I play very aggressively i think but the aggressiveness seems to go up as I get farther into the hand, but I win 60% of what I played i think from the #'s..
Dont F' with me, I can grind it out like a bot

your aggression numbers are backwards! your flop aggression should be highest.

VPIP too tight
PFR can go up
WTSD can go up a tad
W$@SD will go down as a result

sample size too small. 14.5 is not too tight,, mine is just allittle above 15.

It is borderline tight though

What VP$IP is ideal for limit play? Specifically low-low limit play? I'm hitting closer to 22 playing at the .10/.25 tables. Is that off the mark?
I run a training site...

Check out strategy videos at GrinderSchool.com, from $10 / month.

There is no right answer, but there are wrong answers.

Consider that as you play more hands you approach the range of hands that break about even once you factor in the rake.

o The better you play post-flop compared to your opponents, the more hands you should play
o The more loose/passive your opponents are pre-flop, the more hands you should play.
o The more aggressive your opponents are pre-flop the fewer hands you should play.
o The lower the rake is, the more hands you should play.
o The larger the blinds are, the more hands you should play.

Aggression #'s backwards...hmmm...

Well it seems that I usually feel i have the best hand when i get to the river and usually bet it to push some more in the pot...ill look into my raising for the next few sessions

I really cant play much looser at these fish filled tables right now..they all play everything and bet everything. I find my self folding A10, K10 etc UTG or +1
Dont F' with me, I can grind it out like a bot

Look for more spots to raise instead of call on the flop.

Could have been a cold run of cards. I'm in a pretty long stretch right now where I'm not getting alot of premium starting hands. Right now you're better off playing on the tight side anyway.

Your VP$IP seems low (compared to mine ) ... is that from playing really tight while multi-tabling?

Hey I was you a few months ago asking what this stuff meant, now its all like clear english hehe...

Vol$ip: is the percentage of hands you play, 15 would be you played 15% of the total hands you were dealt.
Aggression is calculated off percentage of times you raise/bet vs check, called etc... anything over 2.0 is fairly aggressive, 3.0 is very aggressive

Close, it actually is Volintarily(Vol) put money($) into(i) the pot(p).

It doesn't count a SB fold or a BB check. So it's not exactly how many you play just volintarily put money into the pot pre-flop.

These numbers look good to me. W$SD looks a bit high to me. Perhaps you are folding away at the turn a lot, or just hot. As you stated, pick up your aggression to get back those bets when you cool off.

I am getting p0wnt

1875 hands of PP 2/4

V$IP 16.16
V$SB 36.36
W$WSF: 31.82
"won" -119
BB/1100 -1.59
Went to SD 28%
W$SD 46.09
PFR 8.16

Aggression:
PF 0.79
Flop 3.02
Turn 4.38
River 2.74

overall 1.75 3.29 w/o PF agg.
check raise 2.47%

OK, maybe I am just a little cold. Other thoughts: Still in too many hands in the SB. Perhaps too aggressive, I seem to like the check raise.
Also, I am losing money from the cutoff... this seems flukey, though AK/JJ/AQ all losers. Also, I am losing on suited garbage. No sure how much, since I am playing relatively tight.

But 78/9T/TJ/JQs all losers, >1BB/100. 90% limps (except for the occasional QJs)
How would you tell if you were extracting the proper amount from your wins?
