Hand #1:

Should I have backed down on the turn and river, or should I have capped there too? UTG is a tight aggressive. Puts money in the pot 18% of the time and raises preflop 10%.

Hand #3:

Was my raise on the flop for information a decent play, or was I just wasting my money and should have folded initially (and therefore respecting his raise as AK or high pocket pair), since I didn't have any strong draws? UTG puts money in the pot about 30% of the time and raises preflop about 6% of the time.

Hand #4:

No real reads on villian, since I had just joined the table. The preflop call/raise caught me off guard, and I'm pretty sure now that I shouldn't have been that aggressive on the flop. Was it a mistake to get that aggressive on the turn when the third Jack fell? Should I have assumed he had me beat?

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, J. UTG posts a blind of $0.25.

Villian has Qc Qs (full house, queens full of jacks).
Outcome: Villian wins 23.70 BB.

Hand #5:

Did I protect my hand in the best way possible here? For the brief time the Villian spent at the table (9 hands), he called with 5 of them and didn't raise any of them.

Hand 1: Keep going...with those stats, this guy is telling you that he has AA/KK/QQ and you have those beat.

Hand 2: Yeah, I'm probably showing this down...He probably waits for the turn to raise a 9 which means he's on a draw or a K and he's a calling station, so could easily be a worse king.

Hand 3: I don't see a raise on this flop doing you much good especially with MP3 already calling a bet.

Hadn 4: Without a better read on Villain, this hand is tough to decide on. I'm definately not betting out that flop though, this seems like a check-raise situation to me.

Hand 5: I just bet the turn too.

Yeah, learn the "I have a pocket pair too" pattern and find extra bets with AA.

I usually 3-bet the flop, but there are players who are so passive that I would use Hero's line.

I like to have a little something before raising after a bet + call. I would peel one and fold.

Check/call the flop and go from there.

Bet, bet, bet. Don't do stupid check/raise plays like that without very specific information.
