hand 1: a hand calling you on the turn and river likely have you beat if they called 2 on the flop
hand 2: You don't have a nut boat and villian is not slowing down, my gut says JJ. AA and KK would slowdown along with the flopped straight.
hand 3: standard, blind steal that is more than a steal

Hand 1: Considering the texture of the board and micro-scopic pot I would just fold on the flop.
Hand 2: Open limping sucks, everything else is standard. If you lost this to JJ, that just sucks. 99 is more likely and fits the action too.
Hand 3: Standard

Only when it's 5+ to every flop and often unraised.

Or folding, depends on how I'm feeling, table texture and the price of tea in China.
One of the few nuggets from Jennifer Harmon's SS2 HE text is that UTG is a pretty bad spot to get creative.

...let me re-phrase. Opening hands like this in a kinda TAggy game with soft spots isn't a gold-mine.
Once you get to the point where you accept that open-limping in the game you're playing in is a bad idea, then it's raise or fold.

Okay I just had QJs UTG+1. UTG called I raised and it was headup.
I bet unimproved the whole way (caught the flush draw on turn but missed). UTG called all the way with A6s unimproved. King and pair of nines on board.
How'd i do?

QJs is about the weakest hand I'm pretty much always raising UTG.
If you knew he'd call it all the way down with any Ace or (pocket) pair, then I would check behind on the turn. If he's a peel one kinda guy I like the turn bet. If he's unpredictable and aggro I tend to check behind on the turn.
