I have alot of trouble winning at party on weekends, so the I'm sticking with the micro tables for now.

Hand 1
The tazz was playing every hand (100/10) and winning an unusual amount. The other two were LP (~50/2)

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 3
MP1 is SLA, the rest are LP. I like top pair with a flush draw, but after all the flop action, I thought they would continue with the raising war and the board had paird. Two things that I don’t like with my hand. Never mind that the flush missed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 6
Raise preflop from SB with all those loose callers? I normally do unless one of the EP callers is a tight player. I’m pretty sure he was on the diamond draw, and I would’ve loved to checkraise, but his agro is 0.4

Final Pot: 6.25 BB

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 9
This is a fairly standard play for me, when an aggressive raises my monster on the flop. Sometimes I 3-bet the flop, sometimes I check-raise the turn, sometimes I try to 3-bet the turn. The turn and river cards kinda sucked.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 12
Yet another weak BB hand. For some reason they all seemed to be queens today. Both players are loose passives (~80/0) and one of them has agro of 1.5, the other is 0.00. Easy to fold at the river, but should I have bet the river?

Hand 1: Cap the flop, don't check/call until he pops you on the turn.
Hand 2: Had a hand like this today, but I wasn't g00t enough to river my King. Don't feel dirty, you're paying this off.
Hand 3: That fold sucks. 2 outs to the nuts and a flush draw in an out of control pot. I would raise the turn.
Hand 4: Yeah, sucks having to make a crying call with top set. No f'n way do you fold here though. I've laid down similar hands on boards like this and been wrong.
Hand 5: It's your money man.
Hand 6: Easy value raise pre-flop. Rest of hand played itself.
Hand 7: Sometimes I just fold to the flop raise. Are you really going to be happy if you catch a 3? If it's the 3 of spades?
Hand 8: Bet it and they will call. Sometimes they get cute and raise with nothing. Checking the turn is horrible.
Hand 9: Draw heavy board, cap the flop before something hits that slows you down.
Hand 10: Standard
Hand 11: Raise pre-flop. Rest is standard.
Hand 12: Meh
Hand 13: Interesting and cute. I think I play it the same and make a point of checking behind this guy if it's close.
Hand 14: Bet the river.
Hand 15: I like it.
Hand 16: Yeah, pot is too big to fold the turn.

Hand 5, I played the 74o UTG because, two people at that table had commented about my TAG playing style. I dont like micro players to think they know my game. This is quite possibly the only time I have ever played this hand.

Hand 11, both of you said to PFR from MP. With no limpers in front of me, this is an instant fold for me. I'm not close enough to the button to steal the blinds and I dont like my position. This is the most confusing reply of all to me; can you elaborate a little?

Hands 7, 10, and 12 are the hands that concern me the most, because I get them all the time from my BB. Basically, your saying bet the flop and then check/fold unless I improve on the turn?

There are better hands to raise from EP for image than 74o. If you're getting too much respect open it up to hands like 66,77,88, JTs, KTs, 56s even. Something with a chance. No need to put money in the pot with pure trash. The rake is too high and our opponents suck too hard. Besides, anyone who can think more than one step ahead knows you're advertising and will probably have the goods next time.

I take and isolate the blinds from MP all of the time. I would only consider open-limping if I have multiple players remaining to act who cold call like 50%+. It also makes it harder to put you on a hand. Raise or fold from MP.

Bet until raised, then re-evalute. Sometimes I bet/fold, sometimes I bet and peel one if raised, sometimes I take it to the felt. Count your outs, but just don't spew lots of chips off in an unraised pot. However, you certainly can count on your opponents to make all sorts of HORRIBLE calls in unraised pots and you want to exploit that. Furthermore, avoid calling with lukewarm made hands in small pots. Raising and folding are almost always better unless you have a really good reason to call it down.
