Paradise Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 9.
UTG calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 1 fold, CO raises, 1 fold, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 9, 8, 9 (5 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG folds, MP1 folds, CO calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) J (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, CO calls, Hero calls.

River: (9.50 BB) 6 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, CO calls, Hero raises, BB folds, CO calls.

Final Pot: 14.50 BB

Was thinking that the pf raiser had two big cards, maybe hit on the turn jack which he did. I bet the flop knowing they would call and maybe raise, then checked the turn thinking a bet was coming. I did not raise here because the table seemed to be respecting raises, and I did not want to knock out anyone. On the river - I thought betting out would get two callers but checkraising would get two more bets.

Lead the turn, he cant three bet you if you dont bet out. No reason for a stop n go when you are this far ahead.

Bet your good hands for value and don't worry as much about "extracting the max". Betting your hand will get the max often enough. When you have good reads then consider using those reads to extract more value.

Focus more on situations that happen frequently. You could open fold every time you flopped quads and it wouldn't be a big leak.
