Short Story: Shitty shitty run of cards and probably some poor play has compounded into Eupho slowly leaking away approximately 70% of his bankroll.

Your job is to fix this, as well as hopefully learn something.

I hope to do a couple of these videos. I think they help me, maybe they'll help you as well. At the least, they'll be informative.

Link:
http://www42.megaupload.com/files/ef...oLosesLots.avi

Video Size: Approx 65 meg
Length: 35 minutes or so. Video and Audio.

PLEASE post any and every comment. If you don't like how I played a hand, PLEASE tell me. If you see something I'm doing over and over that is horribly stupid (particularly in my blinds...) please, please, please point it out.

{Edit: Backup link at http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Z0DSU1XW but you'll have to fight through their crappy website. The actual download link is under their fake popup window. It will ask you to input some characters to make sure you aren't a 'bot, and then make you wait 40 seconds, THEN you can download. }

If you need the codec, thats it. You want the first one on the list.

A good idea was presented, please consider keeping notepad open while youre watching so you can jot down any thoughts. Include the times so we know what you're talking about

pretty standard for the most part. You ran bad in that video, though you probably have some big leaks if you've lost that much of your br in that short of a time.

Stat post?

Anyway this is what I had in notepad watching you: (sorry for no timings, these are in order)

Quote:
A9s 4 handed easy open UTG

75s bb with a cold caller in sb

KJ with limper in front

QT easy complete

JT worth a showdown? gutter draw on turn as well implied odds

QJ CO raise

why are you on a table with a 16/0 on your direct right?

AQ raise for value bitch

why do you have a 57/23 on your left?

something suited 5/6 way in sb

i agree with harry/jeff about check/folding 3way

A8 raise on the button with 1 limper

AK I raise the flop to clean up some outs and to keep aggression high

A2 sb 4 limpers complete

post stats kthx

also, if you're playing 1/2, you might as well go to stars and play 8 tables of 1/2 at a time (or party, but its easier on stars) since a higher vpip isn't optimal and you don't need to be tricky postflop

The download isn't working for me (the first link is broken, and after navigating through the site on the second one, and waiting for the download link to appear, it's also a broken link). Do megaupload files expire or something like that?

They shouldn't. The first link very well might be dead. The second one shouldn't, however.

Midas: I'll stats post a different thread to keep this one on topic.

A9s 4 handed was actually 5 handed, does that matter? I make that raise often, but I was actively trying NOT to make that raise.

(9:00) As I said, 75s i'll call getting 7:1 as per Jeffs instructions. Theres lots of debate on that one, as to whether 5:1 is good or not. I'm definitely open to hearing objections.

9:45, anyone fold that AA turn? River? Villain is funcitionally retarded, so...

Didnt see the KJ hand?

13:30, QTo call from BB getting 7:1? Those kinds of blind things are probably hurting more than I think.

Around here I noticed the audio was going faster than the video. Kind of annoying. I'll have to remind myself to check into that. Like, really bad. A full 5 seconds or so...

Missed the QJo hand?

The JT worth a showdown? (19:20ish) Probably not. 16/0 limps on the button, raises flop, and the turn is an overcard in a three way pot.. ?

Heh 21:00, the AQ raise for value. Yeah, I guess I can see that. I didn't know you could hear harry in the background lol

Sound/Video latency is getting pretty annoying here. Sorry, not sure whats causing that.

24:30, 55 check/fold? I disagree. These guys will bet any two if you check to them. And its not three way, its HU. Checking to the button HU with a decent hand is begging to be bluffed out of that pot.

Missed Iso raise with A8 at around 27:00. I didn't even acknowledge its presence heh.

28:00 anyone check the river? Turn? Pretty results oriented I guess, but I figured he'd show *some* resistance with the A? Hard to tell against these morans. Would you pay off a donk-bet? I think you'd have to.

33:00 yeah I guess you could raise the flop here and free-card it. Thats iffy too, especially with an overcaller. I think at best you're drawing to about 4ish outs most of the time.

Didnt see the A2 either.

Audio ended up around a full 27 seconds off at the end. Seems like it gets worse as the movie gets longer, future video's I'll cut at around 20 minutes to mitigate that.
