Anyone play these? I seem to clean them up. My strategey is to see alot of flops as it is not unusual for 8 people to see the flop. Then if I dont flop the nuts or a draw to the nuts (I usually dont chase straights with a 2 suited flop).
Any omaha gurus here? People chase everything and vastly overvalue pair/2 pair hands so you get paid off every time. Any Omaha gurus here?

Good philosophy but only play starting hands that can give you nut draws. Big pairs, suited aces, 4 connecting cards (hopefully double suited), things like that. Biggest leak for lots of folks is they get caught up in hands that make them 2nd best. Those are our profit.

No one seems to read this forum... but Ive moved from the 25 PL rooms to the .50/1 Limit table, as people chase way to much and you are often getting really good odds to draw. Also, a suckout does not take all of your stack...

yes omaha is very profitable. but for me i'm too impatient to wait for the nuts...it tends to be very tedious and boring just waiting for good cards.
you have to wait long enough just to get coordinated starting cards, and then you have to hit the flop as well, which you don't hit often.

Yeah I know I was playing .50/1, and would routinely drop like 10 bucks before I would win a pot. Then, I wouldwin like a 17 dollar pot and be up, drop most of that before winning a pot. It seems like Low limit omaha is a waiting game where you gradually can make a profit.

I dont think I will ever play limit Omaha. The edges are too small. I have been playing the $25PL on empire/party for about a month and have had a lot of success. I dropped a few buyins here and there, but have been overall profitable, I did the PP bonus 720 raked hands 3 tabling in like 5 hours. The play is so bad, its hard not to be profitable. It seems like a lot of people dont grasp the redraw concept. I generally dont play a lot of hands and play heavily with position. I hope we get some more interest in Omaha on the forums! rilla, I like the pats helmet
