Put him on a range. He capped preflop and went nuts on that low board. I'm putting him on 88+, perhaps AhKh, AhQh. We are only losing to 88 and 99. Raise again.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

This is an art, not a science. At some point, you perhaps become convinced that he got really lucky and hit a set or a straight, but until you get to that point, you need to continue to ram and jam because the most likely scenario here isn't even 88+ and it certainly isn't a nut flush draw-- it's QQ, KK, or the other 2 aces, and you crush that range.

Very true. His most likely holding by far is a worse overpair. I threw in 88, 99 and flush draws because they are certainly plausible too, and to show that we are often, but not always, far ahead here.
Then again, hands like A9 or 98 that he decided to go full retard with preflop aren't out of the question either.
In short, AA is good (and way ahead) so often here, I'm not willing to slow down just yet. I'd probably raise-call a cap, then bet-call basically any river.
