When should you make equity raises with draws HU?
Should I have played this hand more aggressivly or is this line fine?
No read on BB.

Turn: 6 (3.5BB, 2 players)

In position I would raise the flop and check behind on the turn.

However, you do not have that luxury, extracting value OOP is tough. Only thing I change is I definitely donk the river, no way am I risking him checking behind. He is so likely to do so no b/c it is an 8 which fills your straight but b/c it is a club which fills a flush draw. Donking the river here will keep paid off a vast majority of the time, however, you see here by trying to c/r you lost a bet.

Agreed the river check with the 8 of clubs was no good. Wrong 8 for a checkraise.

Will post a couple of more draws, comments are very appriciated.

Hand #2
I definitely put another bet in whether it be the turn or the river, not really sure which one I would put in it on. Probably bet river.

Hand #3
I do not like this fold, you are laying 9:2 immediately without any other calls behind you. This means you are easily getting enough odds to call the flush draw.

Hand #4
I would not raise this flop. Unless you put CO on overcards and not an overpair or TP I dont see you folding him out.

Hand 2, I think the turn bet is correct. You almost have a good enough draw for a value bet 3-way. You might get a better hand to fold and a worse hand to call. You build a bigger pot with a lot of outs to the nuts which makes it easier for you to get paid on the river. You may get another Ace to fold buying you 2 or 3 outs. All of this adds up to a small but solid +EV from a turn bet here.

Hand 3, given no reads, you probably just have enough equity to call the turn, but it is by no means a blunder to fold. If CO likes to 3-bet a lot you can feel good about folding.

Hand 4, spewage unless you've seen this super-aggressive CO fold often heads-up to aggression. You need quite a bit of fold equity to pump a moderately good draw HU.
