What was your read on the villain regardless of results? I'm not a big expert on the numbers. What do they mean?
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

When he caps preflop, I feel that he has 99+, AQ+, ATs+. I'm relatively tight, so his read on me is probably mid pair+ or big A.

Of the hands I would like him to fold, the hands that he might (*might*) fold are KK and QQ. Everything else he is either not folding or I want a call.

Numbers: Voluntarily put $ in the pot (preflop) / Preflop Raise % / Aggression Factor

This guy is pretty much your standard 2+2 TAG, maybe a tad looser.

If you feel he doesn't have the ace or KK then it's elementary to check call down with him reading you as a flush draw. I think the choice really centers around a possible KK IMO. That's the only hand you could fold out that beats you.

I'm really baffled by the line you took, mostly because I don't have as much experience in Limit. I'm getting better though. Can you tell me why you took control after the flop?

I'm not sure why you donk this flop. It's pretty much way ahead or way behind so since he had initiative then let him con. bet with JJ, TT, 99.

If I hold an A with top or second kicker I'm not raising you until river since I have position.

I don't see much value in leading either the flop or turn. He's calling you down with an ace, and he's folding a smaller pair that he will probably bet when checked to on the flop and turn. If your intent otherwise is to check and call down, you lose value when he has 9-9, T-T or J-J by betting, with the only benefit being potentially folding out K-K.

Meah I was actually thinking he was going to raise you on the turn, seems so standard anymore it's gross... as played that is...

I’m not sure what he can cap then fold to a donk flop, donk turn... I figure AA, KK, JJ, TT, AK, AQ, AJs (depends on how spunky he gets with his hands PF)... QQ is still a likely hand but not as high of odds as the others so it's almost worth so little it be the last hand I’d put him on...

I mean 4 out of 6 of the hands I have him on has an Ace in it... so I honestly figured he would raise the turn and have your ass pegged to the wall...

Me neither. My normal line would be check/call, check/call, bet. For some reason I strongly suspected KK and wanted him to fold, but in retrospect I doubt he would fold that holding.
