Default don't get too cute during blind battles

I see this line all the time online, and almost never in live games. Here's the thing about blind battles-- they are tests of fold equity. And once it becomes apparent that you have none, you shouldn't be throwing good money after bad into the hand unless you have the best hand. This guy must have known he did not have the best hand:

    PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, Q
5 folds, CO raises, 1 fold, Hero calls, 1 fold

    Flop: (5 SB) Q, 8, 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, Hero calls

    Turn: (5.5 BB) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls

    River: (7.5 BB) 10 (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO checks

    Total pot: $3.75 (7.5 BB) | Rake: $0.15

    Results below:
Hero had K, Q (one pair, Queens).
CO mucked 5, 9 (one pair, nines).
    Outcome: Hero won $3.60

This stone cold bluff be! This guy flopped NOTHING (except the idiot end of a gutshot straight draw) against a player who almost certainly had a better starting hand than he did, and who very likely hit the board either with a queen or a big spade. That player than raises his c-bet.

Now, how much combined equity (fold equity and pot equity) does he have at this point?

    FOLD!
