Is it always worth to cap pre-flop with AA or KK when it is 3-bet after your raise?

The thought is to sacrifice some preflop edge to push a likely stronger and more profitable edge later in the hand. i.e. trap for extra bets on the turn/river.

I am thinking this a good idea against a TAgg as he would suspect a reraise pre-flop from AA and KK. He may get hyper aggressive later in the hand when he thinks he has a made hand. Against a loose caller it probable doesn't matter much in the long run.

I know there is probably more worth while discussions but I was interested in what people think on this topic

If there is more than one player that will call the cap, you should always cap. The immediate value you're passing up is just too much to give up for a later oportunity that may or may not come.

Heads-up is a different story, but you still should often cap vs thinking players and always cap against poor players.

Well I should have said in my post but I was thinking in terms of HU. I would think for me the circumstances would have to be absolutely perfect to not cap. HU with a TAgg that I have played before or been at the same table for a while. I guess this might fall under the guidelines of not slowplaying or trying to be tricky as there is not much value in trying to fool online players.
