Any way I should have slown down? Its obvious (because im posting) that something went wrong -- what do you see?

Flop: (17.50 SB) 2, 5, 8 (4 players)
UTG checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, Button raises, UTG calls, MP2 calls, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, UTG folds, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (15.75 BB) 3 (3 players)

Check call the turn and river. He either has a set of 8's or rivered jacks on you. I dont know how you can 3 bet the turn here and lead the river....i lose a LOT less on this hand. Way overplayed

On the turn it looks like he knows what you have and knows he can beat it. I would lead the turn and call down from there.

The turn 3-bet is where you crossed the line. I probably lead the turn too, but going into call down mode is a pretty good line too.

I'd just check/call turn and river because the hands that I can beat will more often bet that way and I save the most money from the hands that I can't beat.

his cap on the flop and turn screams big hand, your 3 bet was I think over playing you hand, I c/c down from there... unless you think a guy will do that with KK, only way makes your play right is if he would over raise QQ or KK here...
