Either I was one mean pokerplayer today or I was running extremely good. I like to think of the first alone but no doubt a combination. I played a bit more hands today than I usually do And I openraised a lot more. Combined with my good run this gave me loads of FE.

So to come up with any meaning in this post I'd like to start a discussion wether it would make sense to open up a bit when you are running good and your table image is good. And reverse when running bad.

theoretically I don't like this very much since in the long run each hand/session is somewhat independent of the other so in order to raise you want other reasons. I.E. Tightplayers after you so you are more likely to buy the button and such.

Another possibility is to accpet that I might be able to play a few more hands profitable and just open up my game in general..? Current´ly I'm 19/12/2,5. so the last couple of hands should be pretty marginal I think and I'm playing 7 tables and might make too many mistakes to play more hands profitable.

Anyways I'd like a word on what you guys do when running bad/good. Play standard or do you make small adjustments..?

Full table or 6 max?

Always make adjustments. Odds are you have a good seat and your opponents are even more inclined to fold, miss bets and give free cards.

The toughest spot I've found is when you're at a great seat but fucktard is hitting everything and managing to win with 22, A4o, etc unimproved on all sorts of boards where he had no buisness hanging around. You know you're tilting down to your B game and fucktard is playing somewhat better poker because he's confident. Do you stay and gamble or leave? Isn't it tempting to try to get even?

It's full, Look at the hands I send you.. I can't play 6max hehe..

Yes you are right on with the lagtard running good, thats freakin difficult. Especially since you know it's a pretty good seat you have. But as you said before when a tard wins a few pots he becomes less inclined to spew. So to get even could take quite a few hands

But who is affected when we adjust..?

How many online players are actually observant at all..?

The common multi-tag is not I think he is just looking at your stats.

And the fucktard might not know a clue of whats going on at all.?

So is tableimage any real factor in online small stakes..? Seat/position as Fnord mentions is the reason to open up but not table image alone I think

Fucktards pay attention and re-act emotionally. If you've been jamming AJo unimproved with position down his throat a couple times and came up second best on the river, he will adjust his play. If you see his micro-scopic post-flop agg numers and laydown a raised pot when bet/raised into, sometimes they will catch on and start bluffing into you. How much worse is donking every street instead of check/calling when you're losing money long-term anyway?

I guess what I'm getting at is that they are adjusting, just often making poor adjustments or shifting up from horrible to just pretty bad play.

I think people don't give fish enough credit. They do pay attention. They do "try" to read you.

It's just that they misplay their hands so badly that we tend to think they don't even care.

For example, if you got trash last 30 hands, watch how everyone folds after you bet the flop with OESD. They think you have aces!
