You really like those Aces, huh? Did you have a read? Against a typical player I don't think you're good very often after capping both the Turn AND River (after being check-raised on both streets!)

Yeah, I had a great read. This guy played the same everytime. Raise w/ paint and if he hits he'll bet and raise till the river even if its just middle or bottom pair.

I think a check/raise on the turn and a check on the river indicates weakness. Like a very strong draw that he missed. Then he check/raises the river to hopefully scare the opponent into folding. But that will rarely work.
If his hand was strong enough to check/raise the turn, why doesn't he come out betting on the river? Because he wants a free showdown. It's not a smart play on the turn/river, especially when it is capped on the turn. It's is more common to do on the flop/turn, that way he can get a free river card from early position. So he check-raises the flop and that allows him to check the turn through, even from early position.
Just my theory. But it has proven correct for me a few times.

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

Outside of maniacs, I find the opposite to be true. A river c/r is almost always at least top pair. I don't think online players laydown often enough to a river c/r for solid players to expect to profit from it.
