Prettty standard river bet.
It is thin, but from a metagame standpoint, you don't want people to know you wuss out on the river.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Bet for value not for metagame purposes, as he is unlikely to remember one hand from the next.

Also, you might be able to get a bluff here from a worse hand when checking. But, I'm not folding.

I would check/call against an aggressive opponent, but bet against a calling station.

Yea I agree CS likely to check behind with a worse hand and not raise a bettor one, but Argo checking will hopefully induce a bluff... and you get to see SD for only one bet instead of multiple bets...

Is it just me, or does the villain's hand look like a busted draw? If you bet, he's just going to fold. By check-calling, you may get lucky and he'll try to bluff.

Yeah. I figured he had A-3, A-7 (or a similar hand) or clubs, so I checked with the intention of calling, but I've seen a lot of fish at this level call river bets when they can't even beat third pair.

If he is passive he'll just check behind and you miss a bet, if he is argo then he would try that bluff...

I check/call every time in this spot.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
