After the ummteenth time, it doesn't. I might not even bet the turn.

I had to fold TPTK today in an over $100 pot (we each had a lot more behind.) That HURT until he was kind enough to show me the nuts.

Agreed. KK is not invincible, it's just a hand. Muck it, for you will see it again soon on a better board.

Actually pretty easy lay down, given this level people play AX WAY too much anyways and being 3 way still on the turn after 4 way on the flop I think at least one guy has the A... and when you get c/r on the turn it's more or less you got 2 outs or 22:1 against... w/o odds to call... even if it gets capped 3 way on the river i still don't think it makes up for it...

thechinaman2 probably has a hand that beats AKo, probably 4x. KK is certainly on 2 outs.

One thing the variance is high in limit I think, up 30$ down 20$... Gotta get used to that somehow...How many hands should I play for a good sample size, to see my bb/100...10k?

250k++

When I play full ring limit, 40-50BB swings are common under even the most favorable conditions. Short-handed my swings are 2-3x as big, although my edge is probably smaller.

I enjoy playing games where I can read and represent hands. The LHE 6max play is so silly that the optimal strategy bores me and my favorite plays are far less effective. Then throw in the ludicrus amounts of rake being charged...

For what it's worth, I don't think I've ever told a client they had a leak that had much to do with playing good starting hands.

Yes that probably isn't the problem, the problem is folding them when you know you're beaten...

250K hands is a ton depending on how many hands you play a day would be dependent on the number, like if you're playing 1k hands a day or more then 10k hands wont mean shit to your win rate, but if you're only putting in say half that at 500 hands a day 10k might mean more to you, as a guess, 30k hands to 15k hands per month (about), in my examples, I think looking at you win rate per month can get you a semi decent guess as long as the hand amount totals to over 10k hands... however to find a very accurate close to the actual win rate 250k+ is standard...

The best to look at for short run is weekly stats, then month, then in qtr months (3,6,9,12)… just to get a gauge on your playing, and needed adjustments… That’s one system I use at least just find something that works for you I guess…
