I think they do. While I admit that my manly, computer generated virilty of my avatar on PartyPoker instills fear into the hearts of fish everywhere, I don't think that it is enough to cause the button, BB, and SB to make a decision and click the mouse button in somewhere under 2 milliseconds. I think they all look at their hand and if it sucks, click "fold" or "check/fold" and call it a day. I don't think they realize that when the button or CO raises after everyone but the blinds folds, it's in their best interest to take a second and think, "is he just trying to steal with crap? Maybe my hand is good enough to at least see the flop.". Not that I really mind. It's making me money.

It depends really.

If they would have thought about defending the blind if they were sitting and playing manually then sure. But I suspect people who use those buttons (like me) don't want to get involved in defending the blinds with T3o just because the other guy may be bluffing.

If I think it's happening a lot I may take a reasonable hand and re-raise just to see how they're playing it. But basically at my level it seems that playing with anything other than good cards is getting me into trouble.

I agree with the original post, if I have players using the auto controls just to my left I take advantage of it, hell, it's wasted money if you don't. However, don't expect it to work all the time, and make sure you give someone credit if they 3bet you, b/c you know they have to have something that they wouldnt have clicked the c/f box.

I agree with Anos... At my level (FR PP 1/2), I expect to fold my blinds most of the time. If someone raises in LP and expects me to call 2 bets with J4o, I'm not going to bother with it. At a higher limit and shorthanded where blinds play more of a part, then maybe, but I hate playing anything out of position anyway.
