I played early this morning at a less than optimal time and the games were not very fishy. So after jumping table to table I gave up not wanting to wait on 16 players to swim with the fish. After closing all but one table, I decided to play just that one and actually place instead of my normal multi-table mode.
Table was about 18-21% and Very weak-passive. In about 2 hours play I totally ran over the table and made 35bb. This was not a card rush session either, I just kept stealing and stealing.

This leads me to my question.....do solid Taggs overlook these tables? I always avoid a tight table if possible, but with proper adjustment I think these are very profitable. The problem is online you dont find many that fit the bill.

It kinda sucks when you are clearing a bonus on a site that has only tight tables at the time you want to play; i would like some more info on playing tight tables.

Ive been playing tight tables a LOT more recently, since moving up. Most of these tables are filled with weak-tight players and will only raise with the nuts. Just be careful about steal the blinds, if you get caught with your hand in the cookie jar its usually best to find another table.

You definately shouldnt loosen up, but you should be more aggro. If anything, try and sit down a 6 handed table and wait for it to fill up, that usually helps a lot, and you can mow down the weak tight opponents even more 6max style. Just realize when you are beat and try not to get into a blind war with anyone. Also, defending your blinds becomes more important against an obvious steal.

Ditto, filling up short-handed tables is a better way to find fish than long waitlists. Often by the time your name comes up the fish have busted and other fishermen higher up the list have taken their places.
