I knew that baertschi klimotorio and cr1s were loose passive players, rosh hadn't been sitting down for too long.
Here's my thinking: Q9o SB... decent, worthy of completion.
Flop: flopped 2 pair on rainbow board. Check-call on flop, check-raise on turn.(that's why i cold called the first raise)
Wow...re-raising, A LOT. someone might have a set... i'll call, see what the turn brings and how the betting goes.
Turn: Okay, nut FH, time to get money, and what better way of doing it then CR?
River: same as turn.
I'm fairly sure the turn and river play was correct(hard to mess up there, but i'm talking about extracting the most money), but i'm unsure of the play on the flop. Although it seems rather weak to fold top two pair, there was an awful lot of raising from people who are usually passive and just call bets on the flop.

Don't go for a second check/raise on the river, you miss bets more often than actually making any. Other than that, great play

I was actually debating on whether i should do this or not. However, i was sure he had a good hand and would bet if checked to.

While I'm fearing a set on the flop once the action starts going that way, I'm nowhere near interested in folding.
I think the flop play is fine. I would just lead the turn though.

Why wouldnt you 3-bet on the flop to thin the field?

The flop is rainbow and unconnected. There's no real need to thin the field since you're fairly unlikely to be outdrawn.

Well, the raisors arent really going anywhere and its not a crime to let this hand be bet for you. I think depending on my reads of the players (Laggy I'll let them keep going) is how I play here. My only problem with this hand is the Q9o SB completion. I think at 9-1 this limp is probably break even at best.

Actually, there are potential straight draws out there. 78 and JT have OESDs, 8T has a double gutshot and then there are the single gutshots

Break even, huh? Well you don't want people to think you're super-tight, anyway.

Because I almost always have the best hand here and I'm more likely to get someone to play back at me or take their hand to the river this way.

You'd almost certainly have the best hand. But with 4 players left to act after you, are you not missing out on a ton of bets both on the flop and possibly on later streets if you blow them all out of the pot?

as i said in another thread, when faced with a hand such as this, where i have a great hand and i'm betting it for all it's worth, i prefer to get more bets on the turn as:
1. C/R on flop could scare out some people who would have called 1sb, thus losing 1 sb
2. after c/r on the flop, i might not get so much action on the turn. if i c/r on the turn i might get an extra BB and i might also get something from someone who would have folded in situation 1 who now see the pot as too huge too warrant a fold.
As i said in the other post as well, i might be horribly wrong, don't shoot...just point in the right direction if it is the case.

I usually play against opponents that tend to call down and play back too much.

At this table at this limits people aren't noticing that about you. They are merely betting their hand and Level 1 is all the higher thinking they go to. Break even is the BEST this limp could accomplish at 9-1. You have very little high-card power, a stretch of connectedness and no flush power. You really need 2 of the above to play normally, and a decent 1 to play from the SB.

Random thought, playing your blinds too often isn't the best way to lose a tight image. The fish expect you to play your blinds, so showing down weak hands from the blinds doesn't make as much of an impression.
