Given the preflop/postflop reraises, I put him on AK, but given the looseness of the table and the low stakes, I figured it was just as likely he was on a lower A. Check/called to find out.

When he 3-bets you pre-flop you're probably in trouble. I tend to back down big when someone 3-bets me pre-flop. I would call every street post-flop so you win the most from KK-TT and lose the least from AK (or whatever, per the board.) If the board looks safe on the river pop him there because a better hand will be hard pressed to 3-bet and lots of worse hands will call more more bet for showdown.

I cap pre flop, cap the flop, call the turn and river.

But, I am a maniac.

IF you call pre flop, continue calling.
IF you cap pre flop, cap the flop.

I don't like 3 bets.

That's all I have.

Fnord would have saved money on this hand.

He had rockets. Then made some comment about me being an idiot, which I both used to drive him crazy ('til he left the table) and felt warranted me posting the hand to make sure I hadn't missed something.
