You have postion on the sb .
For me , I will bet out in turn , thinking of a free showdown in river if he call .
Since only two players see the flop ,thus Of course, god you have two pair in the fifth street and there's no way to afarid of set. so i will bet raise in river as well , raise raise rasie

I think it's played fine given your game/situation. I don't know how well this kind of MP "blind steal" raise would hold on say Party but I think it's fine in games grid because of how tight it is. I'm sure Fnord would advocate it because I see him raise all kinds of stuff like this from MP but he also plays higher limits on Party.
(*side note* Personally, I wouldn't try this at the limits I play .5/1 on Party since I'm almost guaranteed to get at least 1 cold call and once 1 guy does, it's a domino effect.)

trust me, i would never try this on party, i know better than that :P but i figured since the game was so tight and it was folded to me, it was worth a shot

Wow that flop sucks for you. I might just lay it down right there.

PERFECT. check the turn, and bet the two pair on the river. notice how he also gave you a free showdown even when you did check the turn.
Question here for you, if he bets out the turn/river what do you do?

This is why I often just fold this situation at 3/6. Tx will often 3-bet here, and any pair or god-knows-what will often Stop'n'Go the turn. Then again, right now I'm working on finding a balance between weakness and avoiding chip-spewing in spots like this.
With the lower stakes and passive opposition, your line may work more often.

If he bets out the turn i most likely lay it down. if he bets the river, im obviously raising, as theres little chance he made a better 2 pair given the action (AQ or AJ and there would have been alot more action to this point.) I gave him credit for at least the J on the flop...i raised with the sole intention of backing up my preflop strength and to get a free river card. If the table wasnt so tight/passive i probably dont even attempt this, i just got lucky that it worked out the way i wanted to in the end.
