This caused quite a bit of discussion at my table...

Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls.

River: (9.50 BB) 6 (3 players)

Can't see what's there to discuss you flop monster draw with loads of outs, your flush put could be tainted but still I'm playing this very strong aswell.

They didn't like your turn bet is that it.?

With three people in all the bet/raises is for value on the flop so no reason to discuss that part at least. And on river you have second nuts only beat by 47.

What part where you discussing besides prelfop..?

I guess most of it just came from the fact that both my opponents played really wierd. BB had 59 of hearts so my heart flush draw was gone. Then it turns out that UTG did in fact have 47, which took away my 6 as an out. They said that I way overplayed the hand since I wasn't drawing to the nuts and didn't have the nuts on the river. I just sort of needed a reality check that everybody else at the table was the idiot and not me

Couple of things:

1) Unless my vacation has really warped me, 47 is not the nuts. 78 is.

2) You had two in front of you as the SB in a 6 person game so I don't hate the call, but I don't love it either. I am assuming SB is $2 and BB is $5. I have found that completing with marginal hands in games where the SB is actually less than half of the BB is a leak (again it depends on the table tho). But 24 suited in general sorta sucks (I like 35 or 46 much better).

3) Other than that - I think you played it fine. Really hard to put UTG on 47 (who the hell calls with 47 UTG?) - I woulda been more afraid of 78 hearts but considering he plays 47 UTG, I'm betting I also woulda 3 bet him on the river there as well.

I don't think you overplayed this one. It looks standard to me.

Is it just me or is this hand extremely odd? UTG likes the 6d on the river, and BB kinda likes something enough to call on the river.

I can't imagine what BB has. I'm thinking UTG either tried to trap a set, or made a set on the river. Either way, I think you drag this.

Anyhow, I don't think I like your flop 3bet because that forces BB to call two cold (however, for some lucky reason, he does). If you want to pump your draw, I'd be more inclined to call the flop raise, and c/r the turn. This way you can trap UTG for at least 1BB on the turn and hope he calls the raise. Being OOP in this hand makes it hard for us to maximize/minimize our wins/losses.

I like it, with 2 other players in the hand it looks like a river 3-bet to me.
