Mostly I'm wondering about if the call on the turn is ok and if the raise on the river into a paired board is ok.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8, 5.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 7, 7, 2 (6 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, Button checks.

Turn: (3 BB) 6 (6 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+2 bets, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, Button calls, SB calls, Hero calls.

River: (7 BB) 4 (4 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, UTG+2 3-bets, Button folds, SB caps, Hero folds, UTG+2 calls.

Final Pot: 17 BB

Results in white below:
SB has 8h 5c (straight, eight high).
UTG+2 has 7d 6d (full house, sevens full of sixes).
Outcome: UTG+2 wins 17 BB.

Looks good to me.

I believe you have odds to call for the straight draw @ 5:1. The only thing I'm not crazy about is not drawing for the nuts, but with the flop being checked your hand could still be good if made. Good job laying the hand down on the river.

(wish I would have thought about the river before looking at the results)

Thanks for using the converter
Also next time consider leaving out the results, it helps keep opinions honest.

You can always post the results the next day for those who are intersted.

Nice laydown. I might be tempted to make the double crying call.

I generally am much less fearful of the full house when it is a small pair on board. It WAS an unraised pot though, so all kinds of hands are limping in, including yours.

Nice play and good laydown. Paired board + capped river = fullhouse. I have made this crying call a few times only to have the 3rd best hand. Those are the times that will really make you feel like a sucker.

Nice play on all streets I think.
