I'm brand spanking new to PLO, yet I'm gonna get real good in a short time. So I'll be posting a bunch of hands, and I"ll need all your help. Helping me will be good for you though since when I'm good the help will be reciprocated. We'll be starting off with some super standard ones (where I don't know the standard obv). This one isn't as super simple as some of the others I'll post, yet it's probably pretty simple.
Villain is like 70/2/4 over 11. I am nitty and he has folded to one of my cbets. I really do not understand hand distribution and strengths in PLO well at all, but my rationale here is that pf I have some nice high connectors and pos so I should iso, and on flop I could have a bunch of tainted outs if he has a fd so I pitch. I hope for comments on both streets, our plan henceforth from each decision we make, and speculations about how we're gonna play this hand on similar board textures.
Forgive me for using Pokerhandorg, but FTR doesn't support FTP and I cannot seem to get Leggo to work.

edit: I'm not actually sure if this hand is a wrap. What's a wrap?

That's like a partial wrap draw. A "real" wrap would include cards above and below the community cards. For example on a 872 board T96x would be a wrap (17 outs).
Your hand is still a decent straight draw (13 outs), although a number of them are tainted if villain has 2 spades. Fold turn as played and it's well played on all streets IMO.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

I miss calculated and thought I only had 8 clean outs, and since I couldn't figure how to continue on bad turns I pitched. Actually looks pretty dumb now.
Do we actually wanna count the tainted outs? The most preliminary information I've gotten about PLO is to pretty much always be drawing to the nuts. I imagine if we call then playing a spade straight is bad, and if we somehow know all our outs are good we should 3bet right?

If you're facing heat be very warry about drawing to less then the nuts. If you have the initiative feel free to count them as good. At least that's how it looks for me so far.

I was just following with my example. Yes you *might* have 13 outs, but you have to taint some of them.
Big straight/wraps draw lots a TON of value when there is a 2 flush on the board that you don't have. You played the hand just right.

checking the flop is not bad here precisely because you can't stand a raise. Can't criticise check folding though. I think I would favour checking the flop by a little, but this might be slightly results oriented. Depends on table texture I guess
