I'm a little gunshy after a -80BB run the last few days.

Hand 1

Turn: (12.50 BB) 5 (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, Button raises, Hero calls, BB calls.

River: (18.50 BB) 5 (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, Button raises, Hero calls, BB calls.

Final Pot: 24.50 BB

Hand 2 - about 10 minutes later
MP2 is same player as above

Flop: (13.50 SB) 8, 6, 6 (3 players)

Turn: (11.25 BB) 4 (3 players)

hand 1: I dont see why you dont 3-bet the river QQ is the only hand beating you at that point (aside from 55, but given the action...), and IMO im not so worried about him having it that i wouldnt re-raise there. Also, If I wasnt planning on re-raising the river, i would just check/call instead of betting into him again...so i think you have to raise him there. (maybe im wrong?)

hand 2: i woulda played it the same way, looks good to me

hand 2 is fine.

i understand the call in hand 1 during the turn to keep the BB in, but you must 3bet the river here as the pot is so big that the BB would probably call cold.

Like I said, I've been a little gunshy... I should have 3-bet the river on hand 1.

Results:
Hand 1:
Hero has Tc Td (full house, tens full of fives).
BB has 9c Kc (two pair, nines and fives).
Button has Qd 6d (two pair, queens and fives).
Outcome: Hero wins 24.50 BB.

Hand 2:
BB has 8d Ad (two pair, eights and sixes).
MP2 has Ah Qc (one pair, sixes).
Hero has Th Tc (two pair, tens and sixes).
Outcome: Hero wins 16.25 BB.
