I've played PL Omaha 4 times or so. So far it's pretty fun but I have a couple Q's. I have done some reading and so I have an idea of good starting hands and some BASIC strat.
#1 - is it bad to have 3 of a kind in your hole cards. I think so b/c your limiting your chance of improvement.
#2 - same for sootedness - is it bad to have 3 or 4 of the same soot. Again I think yes.....

 3 of a kind in your hand makes it usually completely unplayable. 3 of a suit in your hand isn't nearly as bad, it only eats one of your outs from 9.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
