here are some hands i am finding, through session review, that i wonder about...

one... a "move" i like to pull a lot at 25c/50c because it folds the table..even with four players. down there, c/r's are extremely powerful for isolating flops and setting up turn semi-bluffs. but, i wonder if it wont cause me trouble at 1/2+..

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is MP with A, 5
UTG calls, Hero calls, 2 folds, SB calls, BB checks

Flop: (4 SB) J, 10, 5 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, 2 folds, UTG calls

Turn: (4 BB) 2 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, 1 fold

Total pot: $8 (4 BB) | Rake: $0.25

Results in white below:
Hero didn't show A, 5 (nothing).
Outcome: Hero won $7.75

two.. villain plays this like AK, imo. however, it could be other crap, too. did i flip the spew w/ the river 3bet? or, are KQ/KJ/KT doing this as often as AK? with the 3bet, i was thinking "naked K's" not so much AK.

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7, 7
2 folds, CO calls, Hero calls, 1 fold, BB raises, CO calls, Hero calls

Flop: (6.5 SB) 10, 7, K (3 players)
BB bets, CO calls, Hero calls

Turn: (4.75 BB) A (3 players)
BB bets, 1 fold, Hero raises, BB calls

River: (8.75 BB) K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls

Total pot: $29.50 (14.75 BB) | Rake: $1

three.. i feel i milked the max from this hand with the exception of one bet, but i wonder if it wasnt still horribly misplayed. i think the overlimp is standard with 4 players, oop, and KQ OS. if its soooted, i raise. as played, i think the c/c on the flop is fine to set up a c/r on turn. but, i only call the raise on the turn because his raise really made me fuck it up. i cant remember my read on him, but that raise really caught me unprepared....maybe he was rather passive. should i 3bet this with the speed of the autobutton? a check/3bet would just be such a powerful move, i was debating if i cold call, the other guy will, too, however, if i 3bet, he dumps for sure and i feel i am far enough ahead i can kind of go for the overcall here. when he folds behind, i am pissed. and, of course, i miss another on the end when i could c/r easily. granted, if i 3bet the turn, i lead the river and dont miss this bet. bleh.

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, BB checks

Turn: (3.5 BB) 6 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, CO raises, Hero calls, 1 fold

River: (8.5 BB) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls

Total pot: $21 (10.5 BB) | Rake: $1

Results in white below:
Hero had Q, K (three of a kind, Kings).
CO had 10, K (three of a kind, Kings).
Outcome: Hero won $20

H1... I make this move often too but only with reads. If it works, it works.

H2... the way villain plays this hand, if he's got AK then I am Mickey Mouse. QJ is a possibility depending on how loose he is preflop. Either or he would have been capping at least the turn or river right? When he just called your turn raise, we know we have him. And that's a wonderful feeling.

H3... I'm wondering why you didn't raise the turn or river here.

1) If he's that retarded then go ahead and push him around. I don't see how he could fold Tx on that drawy board just because the guy behind him raised.

2) I like Only AK, KK, TT, or AA beat you. If he's making a spewy play with QJ, Kx or Ax you win. And the number of guys who make these spewy plays is still pretty high at 1/2.

3) Easy c/r on the river. A lot of the time he won't believe you because you just called on the turn, and he'll 3bet the worst hand for you. The only decision left is whether or not to cap the river. I think this hand prolly warrants it because the only sensible hands he could have are 66 or worse Kx hands than yours like KJ, KT.
