I would manly like a thread that discusses when it is better to go for the cr and when it is better to lead out when you are trying to build a big pot. Also just any advice on how to properly use the play would be welcomed.

Not aware of one big thread, might be out there.
The key points to consider between when to use the c/r and when to lead out are:
1) Who, if anyone, raised preflop, and their relative position to you. Checkraising an LP better from EP will knock more people out than checkraising an MP better from EP.
2) How many people are in the pot vs. how many people you WANT in the pot -- If you flop top pair, you're going to want to knock people out. If you flop the nut flush draw, youre going to want them in. Act accordingly.
Beyond that, post some hands. Its a pretty broad subject.

Ok lets say i flop a really strong hand like a set or str8 and feel realy confident that i have the best hand. i'm first or second to act with 3 or 4 players to act behind me. I want to get as much money in the pot as possible. i usually check assuming that with that many people in the pot someone will like there hand enough to bet. Nine times out of 10 they all check behind me. So we get to the turn and i figure well nobody is gona bet for me

Well there ya go, you already know the answer. I lead out made hands almost every time, barring some very specific reason not to.

Ok here is one other situation. you are in a heads up pot and flop an oesd or flush draw. You are first to act and you check call the flop and turn. Then the river comes and you hit your draw. Should i lead out or go for the cr? I always go for the cr thinking well if they bet the flop and turn then surely they will bet the river. So far it seems to be about 50/50 as to wether they bet or check behind. If they bet they call my cr about 90 percent of the time.
