Hand 1

I feel good about the Pre-Flop Call but,
Ididn't want to bet the flop with so many in the pot, I thought It might get raised and chase away all the callers.
Was I OK to Cold Call the turn raise?

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, 2.
UTG calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (7 SB) A, 6, A (7 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, CO checks, Button checks.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 7 (7 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, CO raises, Button folds, Hero calls, BB folds, UTG 3-bets, MP2 calls, CO calls, Hero calls.

River: (15.50 BB) 7 (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, MP2 folds, CO raises, Hero folds, UTG 3-bets, CO caps, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 23.50 BB
Results in white below:
UTG has Th Ac (full house, aces full of sevens).
CO has 7s Kc (full house, sevens full of aces).
Outcome: UTG wins 23.50 BB.

Hand 2

After 50 hands MP1 was 92%vp$ip but only 1%PFR
Should I have cold called his PFR ?
Or does it just hurt to see the results?

Turn: (8 BB) 8 (3 players)
SB bets, UTG calls, MP1 raises, SB calls, UTG calls.

River: (14 BB) 2 (3 players)

hand 1: fold. you're only getting 3:1 to call, and you might be drawing dead already.

hand 2: always call any pocket pair preflop if you suspect it will be multiway.

Hyper, On Hand 2, MP1 PFR% was 1%.. Being next to act (MP2) don't you have to repsect this as QQ, KK , AA and lay down the 88. Calling this for a cold call is tough, cause even if you catch trips, any A, K or Q that boards will be a scare card, and you'll have to slow down if MP1 stays agressive.

On the other hand, you can put MP1 on a narrow range of hands, but calling a cold coll when you are certain you are behind is tough, especially when you are next to act after the raiser and you don't know how many will be in the pot. Everyone else could fold.

Maybe you didn't see Gatorcon's note above the hand....????

Hand 1: Small pot, paired board, give it up on the turn.
Hand 2: Cold call is close, but I really want more players in the pot and don't want to see it 3-bet 3-4 way. If the table is really loose and will pay you off post-flop go for it.

hand 1: Preflop call is fine. Post flop play is pretty bad. You should be the one betting the flop here to try and build the pot. The paired board should scare you here and if you build the pot up enough you will have odds to call the turn bet. The way you played it you should fold the turn. If played correctly you should have called the turn.

Have you read Small Stakes Holdem at all? I would recommend doing so....
