Wasn't that GI Joe?
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

#1Spewage, you have a few thing working against you
Bottom pair no kicker/ out of position, and what i think is most important here, a microscopic pot.
Heads up you have to win this situations every time to make money.
Save the variance for when its truely deserved.

#2Yes it was GIJoe

Him:
-Wow, Bad hand.
-I dont think i've ever seen a worse player than you.
-Is that Aurora, Illinois?

Me: Yes sir

Him:
-Figures as much
-You probably live in the slums

Me: Yup

Him: You are the worst player I've ever seen, and I've been playing for a long time

Me: You can go ahead and buddy list me if you want, its good for my table image
-I'd tell you how to play your hand but you wouldn't listen

Him: You are on everyone's buddy list by default

...

He continue to berate for a couple hours, even follow me around to every table. I eventually had to block his chat as it was pretty annoying.. Either way, It's funny.

I posted this really more for the statement because when it happened, I remembered a past fnord post and couldn't resist.

FWIW on the hand, I would have folded to a raise pf and was not planning on putting in any more chips until I hit the 8 on the turn. HU on ragged flops its usually the person who puts in the chips first who wins, and I would have expected an ace raise pf. CO obviously is the moron for not raising his pocket tens pf, but I don't table coach; I would rather take more of his chips when he tilts.

Nah, he only has to take it down on the flop maybe 25% of the time.

yea, I exaggerated a bit, but to fire all streets?

Your contributing 1/2 the pot tryign to force them to fold, or value bet bottom pair. Your only going to make what you put in. I know that once you put the money in that it is no longer yours. But your contributing 1/2 the pot here to win a forced 1/2 bet.

Because it's 6 max and flop bets are cheap.

You have odds to call one bet with your 5 outer so you might as well bet and add some folding equity.

Completely understand the hand now.
