I want action with my AA, but not schooling...


Ultimate Bet 15/30 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, A.
Hero raises, MP calls, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 8, 2, 6 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, MP folds, CO calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 7 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, CO folds, SB calls, BB raises, Hero calls, SB calls.

River: (13 BB) 4 (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB folds.

Final Pot: 15 BB

Results in white below:
BB has 8d Th (one pair, eights).
Hero has As Ad (one pair, aces).
Outcome: Hero wins 15 BB.



I'm UTG again, with the very same Cold-callers....tough to get reads..

looks like chip spewage to me. it's different when they check-raise 2 players instead of heads up.

I see your point but you forget, this isnt a straight forward game. What would a wacky player do with middle pair? Check raise the turn on a semi bluff. If he has trips most likely he go for the river check raise or bet out the turn in hopes he can get a three bet in there.

I agree with Jeff here. You're aces are good enough here to warrant a 3 bet. Plus, if SB is sitting on any straight draw, you want him out of the hand.
