Btn is 70/5/0.5 calling station. SB is fairly solid 25/20/2.5, but a bit of a showdown monkey. He doesn't try many fancy plays.
When SB c/r'd the river the red lights starting flashing and buzzers starting sounding "AA". Should i 3 bet anyways or just call? Is a puke-fold an option here? What else would he play this way?

Definitely a call. SB could easily have 3bet preflop with AsKx or some other broadway cards.
2 questions - maybe this is because it's short handed, but why the UTG raise with 78s? And why not raise the flop with your boat?

4 handed an opening raise with 87s isn't so bad. And on the flop we want people to call with flush/straight draws that are drawing dead to our boat

Fold Pre. The shorter you get the more high cards matter. 78s is not a raise here.
I raise river one time and cry when he flips AA.

1) 87s is a money maker for me from CO and I will open-raise with it every time. If i miss the flop i can get away cheaply and if i hit it's well-disguised.
Raising with it here with a 70/5 player behind me is somewhat questionable though i agree. He just plays so bad I figure he will pay me off more often than the other way around.
2) Basically there's no hand that can outdraw me that i can chase out with a raise on the flop. So i slowplay the flop because I want Sir Donksalot on the button to keep putting money in with overcards or whatever other random hand he happens to have, and I'm hoping SB will lead the turn with his overcards/ big pair. Also if someone hits a flush or straight on the turn I'm looking at a big payoff.

I remember from a neuropsychology course i took that there is a part of the brain that, when damaged, leads to loss of impulse control. People will say things like "I know i shouldn't do this, but..."
I wonder sometimes if i am missing this part. I made the right read, knew he had AA, 3bet, got capped, and he turned it over.
The good news is I'm able to shrug it off without going on tilt but I really need to fix that tendency.

You didn't know he had AA. He has a lot of hands here. That "read" you got wasnt a read, it was fear.

Well, my sense was that the only hand he would play that way was AA. The board is too scary to be c/ring AK or AQ on the river. A good flush or straight he'd probably 3bet on the turn and same with 99. A7 doesn't really warrant a 3bet preflop.
Then again i've been wrong before as everyone will know by now...
