What hand can BB have that justifies a donk here?
OESDs like KQ, 98 (does he play this PF? since he didn't cap he's probably bad at the game and it might actually be in his range)
gutshot + overcards like AK, AQ
more confusingly, AT, KT, QT are possible
hands that want to b/3b like AJ, 44, TT+ (trapping you in the middle if you call and the original raiser raises)
what does the re-stealer have? If he's a lag he could have any two broadways, any ace, stronger kings, hands like Q8s
but does he think you're raising a really wide range? Or is your image tight? that might affect the range he 3b you with here
Board: Jh Td 4c
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 29.117% 28.62% 00.49% 6246415 107912.83 { Tc9c }
Hand 1: 43.991% 42.86% 01.13% 9354033 246510.33 { TT+, 44, ATs+, KQs, KTs, QTs, 98s, ATo+, KQo, KTo, QTo, 98o }
Hand 2: 26.892% 25.93% 00.96% 5658870 209962.83 { 22+, A2s+, K8s+, QTs+, JTs, A8o+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }
this is approximate anyway
how do you maximize your equity in the hand here? I think if you call and the original raiser raises you'll be in kind of a bad situation because you won't know where you're going with this
but if you raise you could probably get a fold from a hand like A8s and get it heads up
if you get 3b by the BU and the BB caps, your hand will not be likely good, and you could actually fold here (not sure if you have the pot odds to draw to a better hand)
if you get 3b by the BU and the BB calls you probably need improvement but you have odds to peel
same with if BU flats and BB 3b
we probably have too much equity to fold, and we need to protect a pretty large preflop pot
so unless they are much stronger than what ranges I assigned them, I think a raise is in order before we can tell what we can do on the turn

I would definitely raise here.
Try to shut out btn or define his hand.
If it goes bet, raise, 3bet, cap... i muck
If it goes bet, raise, 3bet, call... i call and probably muck turn UI
If it goes bet, raise, fold, 3bet... i call and raise some turns for a free showdown
If it goes bet, raise, fold, call... too many options to decide yet

Call. If the pot were smaller we could play it raise or fold, but the pot is too big to fold for one bet when we could conceivably have the best hand. If it's raised and 3bet back to us, then we can consider a fold.
Raising doesn't protect our hand because the pot is big. All it does is cost us an extra bet when we're way behind to either BB or Btn. It also won't fold out any decent hand that Btn might have. AK, AQ, KQ aren't folding. Jx or Tx aren't folding. The only hands that we fold are two or three outters like 77, A8s which we don't really want to push out anyways.
What was the turn card?

Call.
Get active on the turn with a blank. Bet or Raise with the intention of folding if he goes nuklear.
