3/6 most likely we'll see when I get there what game is the best 3/6 4/8 or 5/10 one of the 3 I’m sure... I’ll let you know stakes, and outcome tomorrow…

Ok so I just got back from the casino, played 3/6 wow, I don't even know where to start...

1) The game is as bad as the 0.5/1 game online (no that’s not an over statement by any means), I had several hands where it was 7 way calling stations...

2) You must hit hands to win at this game, no way do you out play these people… it's more like social hour then poker...

3) My results absolutely sucked I went broke -20bb, my best PF hand was JJ and I got that stuck right in my ass...

4) Go with at least 3 buyin’s 2 doesn’t work… 1 well lets not even go there...

5) It's hard to get good position to many idiots, you run across maybe 2 semi knowledgeable players other then that they fucking suck...

were you playing 3-6? if so you'll have a lot of people drawing. it's nice if you make a hand becasue you will get paid off. kind of different from online 3-6 because at any given hand there will be 5-6 people in.

My typical live 6/12 game is the same way. Raise UTG and get 5-7 cold callers. I don't know if 10/20 is better, I haven't sat in that game.

No matter where you play for whatever limit, if you play the lowest a place has to offer, it will seem like the loose of the loosest online. I play at a place that offers 4/8, 5/10, 10/20, and 20/40 and the difference between 4/8 and 5/10 is astronomical

Yea my suggestion 6) play stakes higher then the lowest offered, it will make your gaming experience more pleasurable...

When I first sat down I had a maniac to my right that was waiting for the 10-20 or 20-40 game to open up... I wonder how well he did at that level... because he sure couldn't play goot at 3/6 he got really lucky mostly...

i was watching a 4-8 game at my local B&M casino while waiting for my name to be called. Here level starts at 2-4.

Almost every single flop had 6-7 people in it. 2-3 people stayed till the river.

Yes, one HAS to have a hand to win. However, where i lack skill is pushing with middle pair. I will keep betting if my top pair on flop even if board gets overcards on turn or river. but I have a hard time betting or raising with Middle pair on flop if there is no other huge draw (four flush or oesd or something). I have seen people bet with pp lower than even middle pair and win pots with it.

I have seen people win medium or large pots with middle pair. dont have the guts to do that yet. If i feel i am behind on flop and no good draw, i fold. and then kick myself in the foot if it was good enough to win that pot.

Whats wrong with you guys? Just sit and camp for your hands and make value bets. AA will win lots less times than 78s and Axs. Adjustments need to be made, you need to play a lot more hands and passively too. Value bet TPTK and check raise when ever possible. Build those pots that you draw and even cold call with enough people in the pot.

Nothing wrong with me either I played the Axs and suited connectors and missed every time, when you can't hit the draws you play for and get cold cards your bond to probably loose some money... I’m not saying you shouldn't play the game I’m saying that have the roll for it and that it's loose as fuck...

couldnt agree with Jeff more... ive been to where you played at pokerfanatic and when playing this low i will constantly play hands like 7T suited or kx suited or even just one gappers like 8T to a raise...its the easiest way to win in that game... you are looking for straights and flushes bc with so many callers little else normally gets through. sitting and camping for AA and KK or AK in position is the worst way to play this game.

Also if you are counting a buy in at 10bb (bc you said you lost two buyins and lost 20BB total) you are way off. you need to sit with atleast 25BB in this game bc you will be playing alot of draws and need to be able to miss a couple
