Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Preflop: Hero is SB with J , K .
2 folds, Hero raises, BB calls.
Flop: (4 SB) 4 , 4 , 8 (2 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls.
Turn: (5 BB) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.
River: (7 BB) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.
Final Pot: 9 BB
Results in white below:
Hero has Jc Ks (two pair, fives and fours).
BB has 9d 7d (two pair, fives and fours).
Outcome: Hero wins 9 BB.
All I can say in my defense, is that BB is a TAG, His raise on the paired board I assumed was a common defense line and the fact that I 3bet him affirmed that fact. I didn't want to bet the river because only a better hand would call. BUT, a worse hand would bet at it and thus I got that last bet out of him. I still think I'm a fish though and I couldn't even put him on an Ace, as he would have reraised preflop with that.

I have pulled these plenty of times. I'm usually right in the "he's got nothing" department, but far too often his nothing beats my nothing and he's too stupid (or brilliant.. hmm..) to fold.

Well at least you gave yourself an interesting table image. People notice when you bluff 27o into every street and show down nothing.

yeah, interesting enough I made like 10 BB at that table, winning 3 pots in a row all at showdown to climb out of my hole. not really relevant though because it was at 4/8.
