Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8, 9. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
3 folds, MP3 calls, Hero (poster) checks, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 6, 5, 7 (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets, MP3 calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, MP3 calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 3 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls.

River: (13.53 BB) 8 (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 19.53 BB

Results in white below:
BB has 9c 7h (straight, nine high).
MP2 doesn't show.
MP3 has 9d 5d (straight, nine high).
Hero has 8d 9h (straight, nine high).
Outcome: MP3 wins 6.51 BB. Hero wins 6.51 BB. BB wins 6.51 BB.

You should bet at least the size of the pot on the flop to protect your hand. :P

if he had 9T i might agree with a bad beat. you split the pot didn't loose it, you were unlucky to chop not realy a bad beat...
