I'm not sure if I've just been running terribly lately, or if there are some serious leaks in my game. I'm going to post some hands for review by some of the limit holdem specialists from this forum.

I'm running into a lot of these as well, and I'm also running like ass, I think I'm up about $300 this month, and I play $10/$20
No, I wouldnt consider calling these leaks. While we know we're losing these like 80% of the time, we only have to not lose them... (insert some number I'm not willing to do the math for)% of the time to make it profitable.
Better to lose one bet when we call than to lose 13 when we fold the winner.

No. Just think how rarely a bluff needs to work in those spots to be +EV.

I may be completly off, but why not check the river on hand 1 under the condition, which I'm assuming he is, that he is a good player and can read hands. If he reads you to be a over pocket pair, and he continues to show action, check the river.
Or would that be too passive?
