$11 Limit Omaha H/L SNG

Down to 7 players. Stakes were about 200/400

Betting brings me heads up with simular size stack with 3 shorties ALL IN

We are at the turn with a low low board 4 2 3 5 ( something like that ).

I figure we are gonna split multiway and was gonna check it down.

The other guys still live with me bets the turn and river. I called a little pissed off. Pot ened up beign like 5k+

As expected me and the better split the pot and luckily knocked out the 3 shorties.

So. was this guy out of line?
Why is it a penny for your thoughts but
you have to put your 2 cents in??

Somebody's making a penny!!

 i know its kind of implied in situations like this to check down so there is the greatest change to knock out the short stack(s), but if i think that i have the best hand, im certainly not giving away any welfare because i would rather take down the pot, rather than splitting

 Pretty hard to comment without seeing the actual hand history.
If I think I have a good chance of scooping the pot I want to get as much money as I can here
For example if the board is 2345 rainbow and I haev A367, I want as much money in the pot as I can.
With 7 players remaining out of 9 I think chip accumlation is more important then knocking an opponent out.
