I just got a few books today from amazon including the stoxtrader/zobags and Limit Hold'em: Winning Short-handed Strategies - Techniques for Limit Hold'em
I've read halfway through the stox/Zob and it is very good but definitely not for a newbie. It is dense as hell and i feel i'll need to read it 10+ times to start getting all of it.
I recommend it to anyone interested in really making a living out of lhe, who has read several other lhe books before, and is familiar with terms such as equity, EV, ranges. It is a very "forum-like" book, in a way, as it has lots of PT stats tables, and uses the lingo we use here. It is not for your normal "Joe" audience like most Sklansky can be.
I'll let u know about the other ones when i'm done!

GREAT (shorthanded) BOOK... but many of those concepts will not work until you start playing above $8/16. Many of his big money making plays are semi-bluffs and re-raise bluffs that just won't work at the lower limits.
Watching many of his videos on his site, he plays much more str8 forward below 15/30.
His defending ranges are game-changing, though (for all limits).

Do you think the stoxtrader/zobags book would be good for full-ring and/or mid-stakes players too? The Amazon description is unclear how much of it is focused on short-handed, high-stakes games.
