Why not pop the turn I think you have the best hand even with the TPTK plus you still have the nut draw... not sure why you called there, mind explaining?

I put MP1 on a big pocket pair given the action and I wouldn't mind a single bad player hanging around. It's probably close.

I had hoped he'd lead the river. $*&@ pussy.

so you cold call unknown players' preflop raises instead of folding and waiting for read?

If he's fishy why not put another in and hope UTG is on a draw?

But I think you played it right you might be behind a higher PP or a made set. Someone told me not to overpley your draws and with the action on the flop this feel like one of those cases.

No fucking way I'm folding AJs on the button for 2 bets when it looks to be multi-way action. I seriously considered a 3-bet.

with the button, behind another coldcaller and two limpers in front, I think it's very reasonable that he does so.

Plus, the players at AP aren't necessarily the best.

I think you played this hand perfect. I like the cold call preflop here with position. I also like the smooth call on the turn because we both know you need help on the river because you are still behind on the turn. Looks like he had KK or QQ to me.

A bit OT on the subject but how are you finding the AB site? Is it really that tight or is the 2/4 game OK? 9-handed tables change much in your strategy?

Interesting turn, close decision. Going for an overcall is safe and you are likely behind here based on your flop cap and his lead.

Looks like UTG is comming for the ride (based on his flop actions). Therefore, I like the turn call. Well thought-out - nicely played.

I play it the same. I can't see your pair being good that often once MP1 leads the turn after you capped the flop. I'd still take it unimproved to showdown but I can't see raising here.
